Free Digital Skills and Online Safety Training
A free Digisafe course that teaches residents to be safe online.
About the service
In partnership with UK Power Networks, our Digisafe course is free and for those who want extra support with learning how they can stay safe online.
Split into two sessions, the course will allow you to gain the essential digital skills which will help you with every-day tasks, whilst also learning how to stay safe online, including scam awareness.
To be eligible for this service, you will need to live in:
- London
- The South East of England
- The East of England
This course is split into two, 3 hour sessions delivered by an experienced digital skills trainer.
Session 1
Covers the essential skills training, and includes:

Basic device use

Device and web browser navigation

Creating and sending emails
-
Using online forms
Session 2
Covers online safety tips, including:

Registering for the Priority Service Register

Report a power cut or faults via online
-
Access support during outages
-
Understanding energy-related communications
