We Are Group has secured a contract extension with L&Q, one of the UK’s leading housing associations and residential developers. This exciting continuation will see us manage and deliver L&Q's esteemed money and debt advice programme, Pound Advice, for another 24 months.
The 24-month extension is an unprecedented contract renewal length for L&Q, demonstrating their deep trust in our ability to consistently connect their residents to high-quality financial advice and skills training. It is an honour to be awarded such an extended contract which is a testament to the excellent Advice service we have been providing L&Q for over 5 years.
Pound Advice is a bespoke advice programme through which we connect L&Q residents with free, personalised financial and debt advice from qualified advisors. This includes:
- In-depth budgeting advice, teaching residents how to make informed financial decisions
- Debt management solutions, helping residents out of arrears
- Application support for entitled bursaries, grants, and benefits
- Financial skills training, so residents can navigate their financial circumstances with confidence.
Pound Advice is an integral part of L&Q's social commitment to their residents, ensuring they have the resources and guidance needed to manage their money effectively and responsibly.

Since the beginning of our partnership in 2019, we have supported over 22,000 L&Q residents, putting a tremendous total of £42.5 million back into their pockets.
