About Pound Advice
Pound Advice is a free money support service, funded by L&Q, providing financial advice and well-being when you are going through a time of hardship due to money problems.
It is available to L&Q residents and anyone who might be staying in an L&Q property. This free service provides a helping hand to enable you to learn how to deal with your current money worries, whilst giving you the confidence to take back control of your financial situation.
Our partnership with L&Q
We Are Group has proudly partnered with L&Q since the service launched in 2019. Over this time, we have supported more than 20,000 residents facing financial challenges, generating over £63 million in financial gains, equating to an average of £3,300 per person.
Throughout our partnership, we have navigated significant changes in the financial landscape, including the impact of COVID-19, the cost-of-living crisis, and the ongoing uncertainties many individuals continue to face. Despite these challenges, we have remained committed to delivering timely and meaningful support.
We take pride in being able to assist individuals within 30 minutes of their initial contact, helping them to stabilise their financial situation and, ultimately, improve their quality of life.
In 2025, Pound Advice has made an incredible impact:
3,875 people supported through the service
£3,317 average gains per person through reduced debts, reduced outgoings, and increased income
