Who is the service for?

You may be eligible to use this free service if you:

  • Don't have regular access to a device or the internet

  • Don't feel confident completing online forms

You can only appeal to the tribunal if you have the legal right to appeal. You’ll be told if you can in your Home Office decision letter.

The online form option isn’t available if you’re currently in detention.

Fees

For details of the fees visit the Gov.uk website

For information on help to pay court and tribunal fees visit the Gov.uk website

The tribunal is independent of government.

A judge will listen to both sides of the argument before making a decision. How you appeal the decision depends on whether you are applying for yourself, or if you are a legal professional appealing on behalf of a client.

If you do not have the right to appeal, you might be able to ask the Home Office for an administrative review. If your Frontier Worker Permit or S2 Healthcare Visitor Visa application is unsuccessful, you can reapply for free if you have new evidence to submit.
